Friday before going home (pulang). A phone call from Italy, a guy name Simone. Something happen to me now days, everything from Italy remember me Papi Berlusconi, viagra and his hot parties. In any case, Simone ask me if I received his email. I receive weekly a bunch of emails from vineyards around the world offering "incredible wines at incredible prices". Yes I received it, I told him. And, what do you think? I don't really know, I haven't taste them, I don't know your prices, neither your credit or marketing conditions. How can I tell you something about something I don't know? He send me the prices and offer me to send samples. Is this the way to open international markets? Would I built a commercial relation with somebody by a phone call or an email (I have a classmate that got married with a Portuguese guy that she met by hotmail chat)? I don't think so. We buy wines, yes. But we buy to the persons that are behind them too.
