French connection

Something happen with french things and people. Or you love them or you hate them. Is not middle point in this. Chinese love them. They love their names, they love go to Paris, they love their perfumes, their fashion, their wines. TheyI have met chines people that change their names to something more "frenchi" like alan, jack, marion, amelie. When we are talking about wines, they love the french wines, not because they are good, complex, concentrate, elegant, expensive. No. They love them because they are french. Because for chinese being french is synonymous of elegance, glamour, sex, sophistication, status, power. Being chinese, having money and drinking chilean wines is something that doesn't match. But do you think they care about what they are drinking? Not at all. With french wines, everything is image. They buy by the label. If they recognize a capsule color red, with a yellow line, their subconscious will tell them that they are in the Rothschild area. I like french wines, but I don't like french people.
